Book our early bird private speedboat charter and experience the Phi Phi Islands before the group tours have had a chance to descend on the island! On this tour our aim is to beat the crowds as much as possible, but be warned, doing so means an early start. We usually leave around 6.00 – 6:30 am, and pick up at your hotel around an hour before that, as early as 5.00 am! Although, the exact time depends on the season. Maya Bay is our first stop on this tour. We can’t promise you’ll be the one at the beach, but we can promise there will be far fewer people than later on in the day. 💛

Tour Locations
Our early bird tour from Krabi will stop first at Maya Bay. The Phi Phi Islands are an extremely popular destination, and Maya Bay is the most iconic beach in the islands, so naturally crowds can form there-especially during the peak season. We can’t promise you the beach to yourself, but we can promise there will be fewer people there earlier in the morning. After visiting Maya Bay we will spend the remainder of the tour exploring all the other spots Koh Phi Phi has to offer, some examples are Monkey Beach, Viking Cave, Pileh Lagoon, Loh Samah Beach and much much more.
We don’t follow a fixed schedule or tour route, your tour guide will plan the best route for you while factoring in the dynamic nature of the Phi Phi Islands, considering things like anticipated crowds, busy areas, tide times, sea conditions, national park restrictions, and of course-guests are able to provide their own input to and customize the route to their preferences. Please note that beach access is prohibited at Maya Bay during August, and October each year.
👋 Bamboo Island
This tour also includes a stop at Bamboo Island when possible. Bamboo is located between the Phi Phi Islands and Krabi, so we’ll usually make it our last stop to break up the return trip back to Krabi. We would like to inform our guests that it may not be possible to visit Bamboo Island every day as on occasion the island can become inaccessible due to wave heights around the island, therefore we cannot guarantee a visit.
Starting Locations:
Hotel collection is included with this tour, from anywhere in Krabi, including Krabi Town and Ao Nang, or other mainland locations. Unfortunately we are unable to collect guests staying at Railay Beach. Our private driver will pick you up in the morning at your hotel and drop you off again, after the tour. We use fixed schedule speedboat transfers to travel between Krabi and Koh Phi Phi, switching to a Private Longtail Boat upon arrival at Koh Phi Phi.
Guests who are staying in an Airbnb accommodation can provide a link to the booking page instead of a hotel name.

This private speedboat charter from Krabi lasts approximately 8 hours, including around one hour of travel each way to the Phi Phi Islands. We typically return to Krabi by 2:00 pm. Departure from the harbor is usually between 6:00 and 7:00 am, depending on the season. The exact time will be confirmed before the tour. Hotel pickup is included, typically about an hour before departure, which may be as early as 5:00 am in some cases.

Food and Drinks
Lunch: This tour includes lunch, we’ve picked a set of popular, and easily recognizable Thai meals for guests to choose from. Our lunch menu includes hand-picked classic meals like Phad Thai, Thai Fried Rice, and a selection of southern Thai curries. The meals are not spicy unless you request otherwise. Each meal is bursting with authentic flavors of Thailand. We stop at a local restaurant to eat lunch, before returning to Krabi. We are able to cater to Vegetarian, Vegan and Halal requests.
Water: Clean drinking water is made available throughout the tour.
Alcoholic Drinks: Our tour does not include alcoholic drinks. However guests are welcome to bring their own drinks to consume during the tour, we are provide an ice-chiller on request. We kindly ask guests to refrain from bringing any single use plastics such as disposable cups, if avoidable.
👋 Thailand National Park
This tour visits protected areas in the Mu Koh Phi Phi National Park. There is a 400 Baht admission cost for adults, and a 200 Baht cost for children. This is not included in the tour cost and is paid directly to the National Parks Department during the tour. The rate is set by the Parks Department, not by Five Star Thailand, and it is subject to change at any time.
The Parks Department has the authority to close regions within the park, including Maya Bay, without notice or reason. In case that beach access at Maya Bay is closed during your tour you will have the opportunity to see the beach from the front instead. This is not common, but it does happen.

Children under 3 years old are not allowed on our tours. We apologise for any inconvenience. Guests who are 70 years or older must contact us before making a reservation and should be in good health. Our tours are not suitable for those with heart or back problems or pregnant women.
