Q: Can I visit the James Bond Island and the Phi Phi Islands on the same tour?
A: It is not possible to see both Phi Phi Islands and James Bond Islands on the same tour. James Bond’s are located in Thailand’s Phang-Nga province around 90 minutes north of Phuket, while Phi Phi Islands are located In Krabi province, around an hour to the south; by speedboat. While both destinations are accessible from Phuket, the distance between the two makes it impossible to reasonably visit both on a single boat tour. In fact, it would take over three hours, by speedboat, each way, to travel the 80 kilometres of ocean separating Phi Phi and James Bond islands!
Q: Do your boats have cover from the sun?
A: Yes! All our private tour boats, longtails, and speedboats, have shaded cover from the sun with an open deck at the front and back. But do make sure to bring plenty of sun cream along too!
Q: Do your boats have bathrooms on board?
A: There are no bathrooms on our private longtail boats or speedboats. There are bathrooms on the main Phi Phi Island before your boat leaves and there are also bathrooms at Maya Bay.
Q: Why can’t we take a longtail boat to Phi Phi Island from Phuket
A: It’s over 40 Kilometres to travel between Phuket and Phi Phi. The sea can often be choppy making it unsuitable for longtail boats to cross. We solely use speedboats for crossings between Phi Phi Island and Phuket.
Q: What are the sunset and sunrise times in Phi Phi Island?
A: The sunrise and sunset is at the same time all year round! The sun rises at 6am and sets at 6:30pm.
Q: Is alcohol permitted on private boat tours?
A: Yes, alcohol is permitted. While we don’t supply alcoholic beverages, you are welcome to bring along your own drinks and store them in the ice chiller on board.
