Phi Phi Island Private Boat Tour: Starting In Krabi [Krabi: Package A]

Embark on a private adventure to Koh Phi Phi and experience the authenticity of Thailand, ride on a traditional Thai Longtail Boat on a tour led by expert local guides. Hotel collection is included from either Krabi or Ao Nang, (no pick up available in Railay). We travel to the Phi Phi Islands by speedboat, the fastest and most convenient way to get there. And change to a private longtail boat on arrival.

Once you’re at Phi Phi Island, there is plenty of time to explore the beaches, bays, and lagoons. We visit the highlights in Koh Phi Phi, such as Maya Bay, the Blue Lagoon, and Monkey Beach. Along with some lesser known secret spots too. Guests can customize the tour route to spend more time in places you love, skip places you’re not interested in, or prioritize activities, like snorkeling. Each tour with us is unique, and we plan a custom route, taking into account the sea conditions, tide times, crowds, and your preferences

The duration of this tour is not fixed because transfer schedules between Krabi and Phi Phi change depending on the season. Travel to Phi Phi on the first boat of the day, and return to the mainland with the last boat to give you the most amount of time possible.

Koh Phi Phi is made up of two main islands; Koh Phi Phi Don, and Koh Phi Phi Leh. All of the places you’ve heard about are on these two islands. That includes spots like; Monkey Beach, Viking Cave, Pileh Lagoon, Loh Samah Beach and Maya Bay along with lots more beaches, bays, lagoons, and destinations known only to locals. We aim to see as much as possible during this tour.

Koh Phi Phi is dynamic and so are we, therefore we don’t follow a fixed route or schedule. Trust our local knowledge; your tour guide will plan the best route on the day of the tour, considering factors like the weather, sea conditions, tide times, and your hotel’s location, while also trying to avoid crowds at popular spots when possible. You can also customize your tour route! Spend more time snorkeling, at a place you love, or move on to the next location whenever you’re ready!

Hotel collection is included with this tour, from anywhere in Krabi, including Krabi Town and Ao Nang, or other mainland locations. Unfortunately we are unable to collect guests staying at Railay Beach. Our private driver will pick you up in the morning at your hotel and drop you off again, after the tour. We use fixed schedule speedboat transfers to travel between Krabi and Koh Phi Phi, switching to a Private Longtail Boat upon arrival at Koh Phi Phi.

Guests who are staying in an Airbnb accommodation can provide a link to the booking page instead of a hotel name.

You’ll spend as much time as possible in the Phi Phi Islands. However it is important to understand that transfer schedules to the island will operate at different times depending on the season. We leave from Phuket on the first speedboat of the day, this is usually around 8.00 – 9.00 am, and we return back to Phuket on the last speedboat of the day to leave Koh Phi Phi, which is usually around 3.00 pm.

These estimated times will fluctuate depending on the season, and are exclusive of hotel transfer times. We’ll usually collect you one hour before departure in order to reach the harbour on time, usually around 7.00 am, however this varies depending on your hotel location and traffic expectations.

There is so much to do and see in the Phi Phi Islands. Guests can customize the tour route and activities to their personal preferences. We will go snorkelling in some of Thailand’s most beautiful locations. There are plenty of beaches, lagoons, and reefs to visit, explore and snorkel. You’ll also have the opportunity to see various wildlife, such as Reef Sharks, Turtles, Monkeys, and more. For lunch we’ll stop by the ocean to enjoy a delicious Thai meal.

Snorkelling: The Phi Phi Islands have diverse marine life; have the opportunity to see Parrot Fish, Clown Fish and other tropical species. It is also common to see Black Tip Reef Sharks, and it’s possible to see Hawksbill Turtles. Snorkelling is included with this tour, and we provide masks and snorkels. The amount of snorkelling locations we visit is down to your personal preference.

Monkeys: Some people love the Monkeys, some people hate them. We usually include a stop at Monkey Beach to try and spot them, and more often than not we’ll be able to see them, usually on the beaches stealing lunch boxes from other tourists! But as it’s a private tour, you’re also able to skip the Monkey Beach if it’s not your thing.

Maya Bay: Maya Bay is a popular location to visit and we include it on this tour (unless you want to skip it). Maya Bay is managed by the Parks Department and in situations when they limit beach access, we can always see the beach from the boat.

Important: We can’t guarantee you will see any wildlife. We don’t have control over nature and we can’t promise you’ll see any sharks, turtles, monkeys or other animals. Maya Bay Beach Access can be restricted at any time by the Parks Department–these things are not within our control.

Our goal is to provide an authentic experience of Thailand, and that extends to the food on our tour. Take a break by the sea to eat lunch. Lunch is included with this tour, we’ll stop at a local restaurant where guests can order from a selection of delicious and Authentic Thai Foods. Examples to choose between include classics like the Phad Thai, Thai Fried Rice, Green Curry, Tom Yum, or a variety of other classic dishes. Don’t worry, we serve the non-spicy versions! Unless you request otherwise.

Water: Clean drinking water is made available throughout the tour and there is plenty of water on the boat.

Alcoholic Drinks: Our tour does not include alcoholic drinks. We can supply an ice-chiller box and Thai Beers on request, there is an additional cost for this. Guests are also welcome to bring their own alcoholic drinks, however we kindly ask that you refrain from bringing straws, or disposable cups on the tour.
