Kick back and relax on a bespoke boat tour to James Bond and the surrounding islands. Explore the ancient beauty of Phang-Naga Bay. Avoid the notorious overcrowded tours and relax and unwind on your own private Thai longtail boat.
There’s plenty to do and see on this private tour. There are viewpoints to climb, caves to explore, floating villages to see, delicious Thai foods to eat, sea-canoeing through the shallow emerald waters, and of course the James Bond Island itself! It’s a private tour so you hold the power to take control of the route, timings and stops! You’ll be paired with one of our welcoming Thai National tour guides, (English Speaking) who will create a bespoke tour itinerary, visiting the most suitable places based on your desires. You’ll find countless photo opportunities and a new sight around every turn.
We’ll take care of all your arrangements for the day so that you can travel hassle free. With hotel collection from any resort or hotel in Phuket, we’ll pick you up in the morning with a private air-conditioned taxi, no extra stops on the way, and no rush. Straight to the pier. Your private guide will be by your side the entire day.
On our private tours you’ll usually spend from five to six hours at sea on your own boat, plenty of time to stop at all the best spots, and without feeling rushed. Our boats are the popular and authentic Thai Style. A hand-build wooden boat piloted by a local captain, there’s shaded areas on board and open cushioned decking if you’d rather soak up some sunshine. An all-inclusive tour with lunch included at our restaurant in the floating village.

We like to keep our tours flexible for ultimate satisfaction. There’s no rush to leave a place that you’d like to spend extra time in and it’s not compulsory to visit all the spots, if you don’t want to! We can alter a tour route to your needs which will be discussed with your guide on the morning of your tour. On occasion, due to unpredicted weather we might need to alter a tour schedule but if we do, we’ll keep you informed, and we promise you’ll see the most awesome places possible.
Samet Viewpoint
Watch a sunset from high up above in the evening. With views across the Phang-Nga Bay and the James Bond Island.
Lod Cave
Access this unique cave system by sea with your private guide, nearby to James Bond, with limestone walls.
Panyee Islands
Stop at these stunning islands, originally home to local fishermen. You’ll have plenty of time to explore the area.
Sea Kayaking
Sea Kayaking/Canoeing through the ancient caves is one of the most memorable activities on the tour (included).
James Bond Island
Khao Tapu. The famous island and what this tour is all about. You’ll have plenty of time to snag a photo and explore the area.
Floating Village
A village built entirely at sea. All the homes are constructed on floating platforms. Stop for lunch and sightseeing.
Phang Nga Viewpoint
There are plenty of choices when it comes to viewpoints on the James Bond tour, but this is one of the most beautiful.
Tour Example Itinerary
7:00am Hotel Collection
A private transfer from your resort or hotel to the marina boat park. We can collect you from any resort in Phuket Island or Phang-Nga Bay. Our cheerful driver will meet you at your hotel and the air-con will have been switched on!
09:30am Board Your Private Boat
Your private tour guide will be waiting at the harbour for you arrival. Spend around six hour on board your own private longtail boat with plenty of activities to do see and choose from!
10:00am – 3:00pm Private Longtail Tour
Manover through the mangrove channels on your private boat making stops at the stunning destinations. Obviously you’ll have time to spend at the famous James Bond Island (Kow Tapu), explore the area with plenty of photo opportunities. Visit Lod Cave, and climb up to the viewpoint. Stop at the Hong Island, Sea Kayak through the open caves, and stop at the floating village in the sea for lunch and sightseeing.
4:30pm – 6:30pm Sunset and Return
The Nangshe viewpoint overlooks the James Bond Island and makes a stunning spot to catch the sunset, we’ll be able to stop here after your private tour and before driving you back to your accommodation in the evening.
It’s a long day on our private tour James Bond. But we can guarantee an amazing and authentic experience. Typically our guests get home around 7 pm. Usually feeling very tired, but with unforgettable memories and photos to last a lifetime. Private tours can be customised to your needs, and your tour guide will help to create a plan for the day in the morning meeting.
