Experience the natural charm and beauty of Phang-Nga bay at the most beautiful time of day; early morning. On this sunrise tour we will visit the smart Nangshee Viewpoint to see the sun come up over the bay, and then we take to the water (after a light breakfast) for a day of sightseeing and canoeing. Speedboat or Longtail? It’s your choice.
Get off the tourist trail on this once-in-a-lifetime tour from Phuket. Leaving in the early morning before sunrise (usually around 5:00 am, but depending on the time of year), we will pick you up at your hotel and meet your private tour guide for the day. We’ll head straight to one of the most beautiful viewpoints in all of Thailand to catch the sunrise: Samet Nangshee. When we arrive, the temperatures are cool and the views are unimaginable. Despite the natural beauty of this place, it remains unknown to most tourists, keeping it relatively quiet compared to other spots in Thailand. The tour includes admission to the Beyond Skywalk, a glass bridge built into the limestone rock and raised 80 meters above sea level. From here, you’ll have the very best views of Phang-Nga with very few other people around. You can see Phang-Nga Bay come to life with golden and purple light shining across the water as the sun rises. Since the lookout point faces east, we can see the sunrise here all year round with only slight variations in time. And don’t worry about breakfast. We know that with the early start time, you probably won’t have had a chance to eat before we pick you up. That’s why this tour includes a buffet breakfast at the Horizon View Restaurant, a 4-Star hotel with plenty of options to choose from. You can enjoy panoramic views of Phang-Nga Bay while you eat, which is perfect since that’s where we’ll head for the second part of this tour. After taking in the views and filling up on breakfast, we will descend into the bay below. Phang-Nga Bay is an iconic location in Thailand. There are so many hidden spots to discover, but it’s most famous for James Bond Island, which we will also see. We travel across Phang-Nga Bay on a traditional Thai Longtail Boat, and all our boats have a pillow set for your comfort while we cruise. The entire tour is 100% private, so it will only be you and your loved ones on the boat, along with your guide and a local captain to pilot the vessel and navigate the sea. Since the tour is private, the route is flexible depending on your preference. We don’t provide a fixed itinerary ahead of time; instead, your tour guide will use their expert local knowledge to plan the best route based on the sea conditions and the season, while also listening to your suggestions about any spots you’d love to see. A typical tour could visit Khao Phing Kan (the leaning cliff), the Ice Cream Cave—a million-year-old cave where the stalactites have formed into the shape of an ice-cream cone—and, of course, we will also stop to see the famous James Bond Island located in the bay for a photo opportunity and a moment to rest. There are countless beautiful spots to explore in the bay, and your expert tour guide will carefully choose the best places for you to visit. One of these special places is Panak Island, where we usually stop to enjoy sea-canoeing, an activity included in the tour. You will have the wonderful opportunity to paddle gently through the calm waters, glide through mangroves, and admire the stunning limestone karsts and cliffs that make this bay so truly unique. Just remember that any places mentioned are not a fixed itinerary, as each tour is unique. Lunch is also included (meaning this tour includes two meals). We will stop to eat at the famous Panyee Floating Village. A set menu of westernised Thai food can be chosen with your tour guide, and you’ll have ocean views while you eat. Koh Panyee is home to Javanese fishermen who built the entire floating village almost 200 years ago. After eating lunch, there is time to stroll around the island, see the small shops, and even take a look at the floating football pitch amongst other iconic landmarks. This tour is all-inclusive (though National Park fees must be paid separately). The tour includes all land transfers directly from your hotel to the Samet Nangshee Viewpoint, down to the pier, and back to Phuket in the afternoon. A private longtail boat charter with a pillow set is included, alongside a local expert guide to lead the tour, admission to the Skywalk above Phang-Nga Bay, and two meals: breakfast at a 4-Star Hotel (Beyond Nangshee Horizon Restaurant) and a set menu lunch at Panyee Floating Village. It even includes a sea canoeing session for around 20–30 minutes with a Phang-Nga local. This really is a unique tour and a once-in-a-lifetime experience. It is the perfect adventure for couples, but we also cater to larger groups of up to 8 people privately, so families with children and friend groups are welcome too. Since this is a private tour, the exact details are flexible, and the times can vary depending on the time of year and the sunrise time. However, an average tour can start as early as 5:00 am (or before!) and would usually return around 1:00 pm in the afternoon.
