Tour Guide and Crew

Five Star Thailand Tours are led by expert guides who are knowledgeable, fun, and experienced, with good conversational English. Your crew includes a skilled speedboat captain and deckhand(s), depending on the boat size, to handle navigation and docking. This tour is 100% completely private. The boat, transfers, and entire experience are exclusively for your group, with no other travelers joining.

Does this tour have Snorkeling?

Snorkeling is included, and equipment is provided. Fins are not provided-in order to better protect the coral. The Pilleh Lagoon is the most well known snorkel spot in Phi Phi, so it can tend to be busy. We will visit popular spots and lesser known quieter spots, as you desire. There are no set amounts of snorkeling stops, since this is a private tour you can snorkel as much, or as little as you like.

Does this tour have Kayaking?

This tour does not include kayaking. We recommend considering our Phang-Nga Bay Tour (James Bond Island) which does include Kayaking.

Bathroom Facilities

Most of our speedboats from Phuket and Krabi have a small bathroom onboard. However speedboats used for tours starting directly from Phi Phi may not have a bathroom on board. Please contact us to check if this is important to you. There are public bathrooms at the Pier in Krabi and Phuket; at Phi Phi Don Island, your guide can help you find a bathroom should you need. There are also bathrooms at Maya Bay, on Bamboo Island, and there are facilities at the restaurant where we stop for lunch.

Is There a Tour Itinerary

The Phi Phi Islands are actually much smaller than most people imagine so a fixed, detailed itinerary is not normally required; you will be able to see all the places you want; assuming the weather allows us to do so safely. Your guide prepares each tour route on the day, themselves, combining their local knowledge, along with your suggestions; to create an experience bespoke to your interests. The Phi Phi Islands are dynamic, which means we are too. A fixed tour route can be a challenge, since seasonal factors, tide times, marine conditions, and crowds, must be accounted for. We continue altering the route in real-time throughout the day as well. For example, if your guide receives information that a popular location like Maya-Bay is quieter than usual, we can alter the route to prioritise it while we have the chance. If weather conditions aren't ideal in a certain area, we can alter the plan to make your experience smoother. This flexibility allows us to create a unique tour for you, and makes each day different.

Lunch Details (Food and Drinks)

We provide an ice-chiller on the boat to keep drinks cool, bottled drinking water is included. Alcoholic drinks are not included, but customers are allowed to bring their own, or drinks can be purchased during the tour. Lunch is included, sit down to relax and eat, in a prime location with ocean views and the sound of the waves. We partner with a number of small, locally owned beach front restaurants along the coast of Koh Phi Phi Don Island. Meals are cooked fresh, and can be chosen from our menu of hand-selected Thai meals. Experience authentic Thai flavours subtly adjusted for international preferences. We can accommodate vegetarian, vegan, and halal diets. Extra Drinks including Fruit Shakes, and Alcoholic Drinks can be purchased at the restaurant, but are not included in the tour cost.

Our boat tours are outdoor activities that proceed in all safe weather conditions. Rain is common in tropical Thailand and will not usually result in tour cancellations.

Safety is our priority. We will cancel tours if sea conditions become unsafe—you will receive a 100% refund or reschedule.

• Tours still run daily in wet, overcast, or sunny conditions

• Rain is not a cancellation reason—tropical rain is often brief

• Cancellations will occur if sea conditions (wave height) are deemed unsafe

• 100% refund or reschedule if the tour is cancelled due to weather

Weather decisions are made on the day of your tour based on real-time sea conditions and local expert advice.
