When making a reservation via fivestarthailandtours.com, you agree to our Terms & Conditions and Refunds & Cancelations Policy.
We want you to have the best experience when booking with Five Star Thailand Tours; we want you to leave Thailand with great memories, wanting to return. We don’t want any of our guests to leave feeling cheated or un-happy.
We approach all cancellations with a “common sense” attitude and evaluate each request on a case-by-case basis. We won’t mess you around; you’ll never be offered half your money back by us. We’ll refund you in full if you meet the requirements of our cancellations policy. We can generally be pretty accommodating; within reason.
Our refunds & cancellations policy is as follows:
If Five Star Thailand Tours has to cancel any service due to unsafe operating conditions or for any other reason. And an alternate travel date cannot be agreed upon; the guest will be entitled a 100% refund.
Cancellation requests made by a guest with more than 24 hours before a service is scheduled to depart can be refunded in full with no questions asked. Cancellations submitted when there are 24 hours or less until the guest’s departure or a guest does not show up; are unable to be refunded.
We can, however, help you seek reimbursement through your travel insurer, providing you have adequate cover and a valid reason for cancellation.
We don’t charge any fictitious ‘refund processing fees’. Other tour companies may withhold a ฿3oo or a 3% ‘online fee’ after a refund; or palm you off with a 50% refund. Not us. When we approve a refund, we approve a refund for the full amount you paid.
Five Star Thailand Tours are registered with the Tourism Authority of Thailand, This means, in the event, that we are unable to offer a refund or a cancellation is made with less than 24 hours until departure. Five Star Thailand Tours can provide a stamped & signed letter, addressed to the guests travel insurance provider. So long as there is a valid reason for cancellation guests can (usually) be reimbursed in full by their travel insurers.
Travellers should be aware of ‘pirate’ boat tour companies illegally operating in Koh Phi Phi, unlicensed, uninsured & unregulated. Be cautious of fictitious companies when booking your Phi Phi Island Boat Tour. And please make sure you deal with only DBD & TAT licensed operators in Thailand.
