Our early bird tour from Phuket will stop first at Maya Bay. The Phi Phi Islands are an extremely popular destination, and Maya Bay is the most iconic beach in the islands, so naturally crowds can form there-especially during the peak season. We can’t promise you the beach to yourself, but we can promise there will be fewer people there earlier in the morning. After visiting Maya Bay we will spend the remainder of the tour exploring all the other spots Koh Phi Phi has to offer, some examples are Monkey Beach, Viking Cave, Pileh Lagoon, Loh Samah Beach and much much more.

We don’t follow a fixed schedule or tour route, your tour guide will plan the best route for you while factoring in the dynamic nature of the Phi Phi Islands, considering things like anticipated crowds, busy areas, tide times, sea conditions, national park restrictions, and of course-guests are able to provide their own input to and customize the route to their preferences. Please note that beach access is prohibited at Maya Bay during August, and October each year.

👋 Bamboo Island and Khai Island

Chartering a private speedboat is the quickest way to travel the Phi Phi islands. We even have enough time to include some additional islands too! Bamboo Island is in the north of Koh Phi Phi, and Khai Island is in the east. We’ll pick one of these islands to stop along the way. Your tour guide will decide the best island to stop at based on the sea conditions and your personal preferences. Occasionally Bamboo Island is inaccessible due to the wave heights around the island. There is no additional charge to include these islands with our private speedboat tours.

Tour Meeting Details Phi Phi Island Tour Phuket Starting Locations:

Hotel collection is included with this tour, from anywhere in mainland Phuket, including Patong, Kata, Phuket Town or any other mainland location. This tour is not suitable for guests staying on Coconut Island. Our driver will meet you in the morning and the start time can be customised to your preferences. We usually start the tour from the Asia Marina Pier Harbour in the south of Phuket, although this is subject to change. From most resorts in Phuket the travel time to the harbour is approximately one hour, however the exact time depends on the location of your accommodation. On this tour you’ll use the same boat to travel to the Phi Phi Islands as you will for the tour, so there is no need to change boats when you arrive at Koh Phi Phi.

Guests who are staying in an Airbnb accommodation can provide a link to the properties booking page instead of a hotel name.

This private speedboat charter from Phuket lasts for approximately 8 hours, this includes approximately one of travel time by boat each way to the Phi Phi Islands. We usually return to Phuket approximately 2.00 pm. You can choose to return earlier if you prefer, although discounts are not provided for shorter durations. Typically we leave the harbor in Phuket around 6.00 – 7.00 am in the morning, however the exact time depends on the season, and will be confirmed prior to the tour. Hotel collection is included, we usually pick you up approximately one hour before the tour departure time-this can be as early as 5.00 am in some cases.

Icon Food and Drinks

Lunch: This tour includes lunch, we’ve picked a set of popular, and easily recognizable Thai meals for guests to choose from. Our lunch menu includes hand-picked classic meals like Phad Thai, Thai Fried Rice, and a selection of southern Thai curries. The meals are not spicy unless you request otherwise. Each meal is bursting with authentic flavors of Thailand. We stop at a local restaurant to eat lunch, before returning to Phuket. We are able to cater to Vegetarian, Vegan and Halal requests.

Water: Clean drinking water is made available throughout the tour.

Alcoholic Drinks: Our tour does not include alcoholic drinks. However guests are welcome to bring their own drinks to consume during the tour, we are provide an ice-chiller on request. We kindly ask guests to refrain from bringing any single use plastics such as disposable cups, if avoidable.

👋 Thailand National Park

This tour visits protected areas in the Mu Koh Phi Phi National Park. There is a 400 Baht admission cost for adults, and a 200 Baht cost for children. This is not included in the tour cost and is paid directly to the National Parks Department during the tour. The rate is set by the Parks Department, not by Five Star Thailand, and it is subject to change at any time.

The Parks Department has the authority to close regions within the park, including Maya Bay, without notice or reason. In case that beach access at Maya Bay is closed during your tour you will have the opportunity to see the beach from the front instead. This is not common, but it does happen.

👋 Age and Health Policy

Children under 3 years old are not allowed on our tours. We apologise for any inconvenience. Guests who are 70 years or older must contact us before making a reservation and should be in good health. Our tours are not suitable for those with heart or back problems or pregnant women.
