National Park Fees
National Park fees are set by the Thai Government and are required for all visitors. Please note that these fees must be paid in cash, using Thai Baht, as credit cards or foreign currencies are not accepted.
Tropical Weather & Safety Policy
Rain is normal and expected; it usually passes quickly. We do not cancel tours due to rain.
Please ignore iPhone and other weather apps, as they are notoriously inaccurate for our tropical climate. In this region, the weather is extremely localized. It can be raining in Phuket while the sun is shining at Koh Phi Phi or Krabi; even though these places are close together, they can have entirely different conditions.
Safety is our top priority. Tours are canceled ONLY when marine conditions, including wave height and sea swell, are deemed unsafe by the official authorities: the Thai Meteorological Department or the Thai National Parks Department.
If the conditions are considered unsafe, we will reach out to you on the morning of your tour to offer options for rescheduling or a refund. Because the weather can change quickly overnight, we wait until the day of the tour to make the final decision. Unless you hear from us directly, your tour is going ahead as planned.
Lunch & Refreshments
Lunch is included on all tours, and drinking water is provided throughout the day. Please note that our bottled water is for consumption during the tour only; we do not provide water to be taken home at the end of the trip.
Guests are more than welcome to bring their own snacks and beverages. If you would like to enjoy alcoholic drinks, you are welcome to bring your own as these are not provided or included in the tour price.
Gratuities & Tipping
Tipping is completely up to you and never expected. Our guides work hard to make your experience as special as possible, and if you think they did a fantastic job, a gratuity is always warmly appreciated.
If you do choose to leave a tip, a common amount for great service is 1,000 THB.
We kindly ask that if you wish to leave a tip, please avoid giving very small amounts, such as 20 or 50 Baht or coins. In Thai culture, tipping such a small amount may be seen as a sign of dissatisfaction or even considered disrespectful.
If you prefer not to leave a tip, a simple "thank you" is absolutely fine and truly appreciated. However, if you would like to show your gratitude further, we kindly suggest a minimum of 500 THB.
Drones
Drone use is regulated by Thai Law. Rules are not set by our company. To fly a drone in this region, you must have written permission from the Department of National Parks, as well as valid insurance and registration with both the NBTC and the Civil Aviation Authority (CAAT).
The registration process for non-commercial use usually takes around two weeks and must be requested in advance.
⚠️ Please be aware that flying an unregistered drone is a serious offense and carries a fine of up to 100,000 THB.
