Should confirmation emails/tickets be printed out?
No, generally our guests don’t travel with their printer! And we know it can often be difficult & frustrating to find a printing service while traveling. So, unlike other operators, we make it as simple as possible for our guests to check-in. When checking in we only need to know your booking number & the name that the reservation is held under. The booking # is sent via email immediately after booking with us.
What Happens If You Lower The Price After I Book?
Generally, we don't change our prices all that often. But if we do lower the price of a service, you can rest assured you'll benefit from the lowest price! We'll refund the difference if you're yet to travel. Don't worry if we raise a price, we'll never ask you to pay any more, if you've already booked!

Sure! We offer all our guests the (same) best price! You can find our best (and only) prices listed on our website! We keep our rates fair, competitive and transparent.
Are there any extra taxes to be paid?
There are no hidden fees when booking with us. Unlike other companies we build the 7% tax into the cost of our tours, the price you see is the price you pay. On some tours, which visit National Parks guests may be required to pay an entry fee. This will be made clear before booking; if a tour visits a National Park.
How far in advance should guests make a reservation?
In the months between September to April - Thailand's peak season, our most popular tours will fill up extremely quickly. To avoid any disappointment we advise our guests to book around one month in advance. Or at the same time of booking accommodation.
Is Five Star Thailand Tours a licensed tour operator?
Yes, we are. We are a registered DBD Thai company & we're licensed by the travel and tourism authority of Thailand. - Travel & Tours license number: 32/00973. Five Star Thailand Tours is a trading name of Five Star Group Thailand Co., LTD.
Where is the tour meeting point ?
This will vary for each service, the meeting, or collection point will be listed alongside the tour information. Guests will also receive an email confirming all the check-in information (time & location) for the booked services instantly after the reservation is confirmed.
Can I book with you over the phone?
We can be reached by phone, email, Whatsapp or Facebook Messenger if you need any information about our services. All bookings must be paid for through our secure website and we do not process payments over the phone. *Exceptions can be made for group bookings & custom bookings.
What is the age range for children's tickets?
Any person(s) aged 12 years or over will be required to pay full price in order to join a tour. Child tickets are suitable for children aged 3 - 11 years only. Our tours may not suitable for infants & young children under 3 years.
What Happens If It's Raining On The Day Of My Tour?
You get wet! All our tours run rain or shine, we don’t cancel any tours due to the rain - tours are still operated during ‘non-optimal’ weather. Generally, the rain in Southern Thailand will pass quickly and will not cause much disruption to a tour. In the unusual event that we need to cancel a tour due to unsafe operating conditions, our team will notify you at the earliest possible time. Guests will be given the option of a full refund if an alternative travel date cannot be agreed. Refund requests due to intimidating, but safe weather conditions will not be honoured and the full amount will be charged. We are able to change a guests tour date if we are contacted the day beforehand. - Date changes are processed at the discretion of Five Star Group.
How can I check availability?
If a service is full, or unavailable, it will be blocked from being booked on our site. There's no need to check with us in advance. If you can book it, then we have avalibility!
